 umentations.\nCurrently, Mr. Dougherty is the cellist in the HodgsonString
  Quartet, a University of Georgia ensemble-in-residence. Recent projects i
 nclude collaborationswith cellists Yo-Yo Ma, John Moran, and David Russell
 , pianists Judith Gordon and Tae Kim, sopranoMeredith Mecum, and violinist
 s Risa Browder and Stanley Ritchie, among others.Dedicated to the efforts 
 of living composers and the expansion of the cello repertoire, Mr. Dougher
 ty hasmade premieres of more than thirty new works by composers such as Do
 nald Martino, David Rakowski,Gunther Schuller, Steven Stucky, John Tavener
